Click 'Install now', when it's finished select 'Open'

If you're having any difficulties with the installer above then you can try a second download method (see below)

If you're having difficulties with the auto installer above then follow these steps:

Step 1: Install Adobe's AIR

Babuki needs Adobe's Air to work so you'll have to install this first if you don't have it already (chances are you don't so go ahead and download it)

AIR for Windows or AIR for Macs

Step 2: Download and install the Babuki Instant Messenger

When you've finished downloading AIR you're now ready to download the Babuki Instant Messenger:

Step 3: Select 'Open'

Mac Users: When you've downloaded and installed Babuki, click and hold your mouse on the dock icon and then choose "Keep in Dock".

Troubleshooting

Mac User: I installed Babuki successfully, but now I can’t find where it’s gone.

Either open Finder and go to your home directory (the small house on the left hand side) and then Applications. Alternatively click the blue search in the upper right and type in Babuki.

Mac User: I clicked on the link but it opened Parallels.

This is a common occurrence with Adobe AIR and Parallels virtual machine. More information to deal with this can be found here.

I’m getting a message about “Unrecognized version namespace” what’s gone wrong?

This means you’ve installed an old version of Adobe Air and you’ll need to uninstall the old version first and then install the latest version (see Adobe’s instructions for how to do this)
